OK, cool color house, nice piece of land, great photo, now where is the storm cellar... LOL Good pick man!!
ALL AMAZING!!! Great photos! Truly.
If you want to do it yourself, just buy 'generic bulk orbeez' (they are meant for toy guns, not what im doing), they come as tiny pellets that grow with water. If I had a tripod and more, I would time lapse the entire thing, what you see in my video is just me draining off the excess water. They are fun to lay in too, as they dont squish easily but act like Jello and move around.
Awesome shots/entries so far everyone! Keep up the good work!
All of these pics are awesome! Can't wait to post some of my own
Nice picture . Once when driving from Arizona to Ohio I went through Texas entering at El Paso and exiting at Texarkana . You probably realize that equals 1300 miles just to get through Texas . Next time I drive through Texas it will be through the northern part where I don't spend 2 days just to get to another state . That way I can also stop at The Big Texan in Amarillo to eat . I won't be trying the 72 ounce steak challenge though .
You're next phone could be the Axon 7 . Aren't you tired of sitting on that fence ?
Great thread . Thanks .
Some quite amazing shots here, thanks!

Beautiful photos guys I am truly impressed.
I would say that most of these photos look a lot better than what the Axon 7 is supposed to be able to take when I read reviews . I understand that there isn't any side by side comparison to another phone but they look good to me . I'm not even close to an expert I just decide well that looks really nice and it's especially encouraging when we know that ZTE is working to improve upon it .

Texas... no cellars, too much rock.
Not bad, but not blown away yet. Many of these are a bit low on contrast.
What A View!
That was pretty neat!
Without seeing side by side comparisons to other pictures I just don't have the eye to look at a picture and say that it's lacking in contrast . I can spot an obvious bad picture but when people say , like you did low in contrast , I just can't realize that . Or someone will say that a picture has a lot of noise or whatever unless they point to something specific in the picture I wouldn't have known that . To me it either looks good or it doesn't . Really inept when it comes to the fine aspects of pictures .
I'm the same way, I can notice noise some, but as far as contrast, and such, forget it. I know what looks good to me, or what doesn't, and that is what matters. I have seen a couple pics from the axon 7 that I can in all fairness agree were bad, however that can be said of every smartphone, or even every camera out there. Sometimes bad pics happen. In my opinion, from what I have seen of pics taken with the Axon 7, it will be more then I need. I prefer my samsung wb2200. I bought a camera, because I wanted a camera, and I bought a smartphone, because I wanted a smartphone. I know what I like, and want.
Not to get technical, but borrowing a quick quote from photocritic.org: "An image with high contrast will exhibit a full range of tones from black to white, with dark shadows and bright highlights." A little more contrast would help with the slight dullness/haziness in some shots.
I am with you on this. I think the majority of people see it this way.
That still doesn't determine what a good pic is to me. My eyes do that for me. I don't need a photographer to tell me if a picture looks good, or a winemaker to tell me if the wine tastes good. If I like it, then it's good Everyone's tastes differ, and of course you are entitled to your opinion. I just disagree, as a few of these shots look gorgeous to me.
I know what contrast is I'm just not perceptive to look at the picture and say that it lacks contrast .
I see what you did there...
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't one way to judge a smartphone picture by viewing it on a larger screen like a PC ? I'm viewing these pictures on a tablet and I'm wondering if the smaller screen shows fewer imperfections . Maybe I could judge them more realistically on a larger screen .
