Welcome to our Consumer Lab page. While you will find many mobile research surveys kicked off by our teams, you will also find polls and discussions created by fellow members.

You're invited to complete any surveys that are still open and by all means create a poll if it relates to general mobile preferences. If your topic only pertains to one product, please create your poll within the respective product forum.

I see they pinned this thread to the top now. Just want to say my name is Pete, ( @hollap ) and I'm a ZTE-aholic. I have been for a little over a year now. I have an Axon 7, Axon 7 Mini, and 2 Blade V8 Pros in the family now. More addicting than the devices themselves is this wonderful Community I always find myself in. Welcome all newcomers to this wonderful place!

Pocket now discussion yesterday was entitled "Android's State Of Emergency"
The main topic was about some unlocked phones total failure or poor performance when it comes to 911 calls (U. S..) or emergency calls from your phone in other countries. It was noted that the new One Plus reportedly has this problem and so do other unlocked phones. It was suggested that owners of these phones contact their local emergency services and test your phone. Does it work when you call 911? How many rings does it take before E. S. answers the test calls? What I got out of this video is in many places 911 either does not work well when calling from a cell phone, or does not work at all. Look at your cellphone bill. Are you getting charged for 911 service? I think we all are and if that's correct, it should work better. I hope our carriers are paying attention. I will be watching for more news on this subject and will be contacting my local emergency services for a test. What do you all think about this?
