Yes, they have an app, but I just view the webpage. They are the same. The app is just a reader version of the website. They do news and reviews. They stray away from unfounded rumors.
Right? That makes everything we right on the Internet true as well LOL
How did you form your opinion that they are the only reliable source ?
In 7 years time I have found no other Android site to be near 100% factual.
Our processor does support OpenGL ES 3.1, but then again we should also have support for quick charge 3.0 but ZTE limited us to 1.0 so who knows
Where were you able to find that information? I searched all over the place and couldn't find it. Must be a very good source that I would like to check out.
it's Qualcomm's official website
I downloaded their app and after a few days uninstalled it. Nowhere near the amount of content or articles as Android Authority or Android Central.
Thank you for consolidating the threads.
Which app are you talking about?

Droid Life. Someone said that it was the best and most trusted Android news source.
Thx for the mention of those others, though -- I'm on AndroidPIT, and had started checking out Android Central, but hadn't yet heard of Android Authority. Thx!
Android Central has a forum for pretty much every phone also. When the A7 first came out I was promoting it pretty heavily there. Both of them have a black theme also being the battery miser that I am.
Is there any information regarding update release
None other than it is in beta.
Yeah, I go with quality over quantity of rumours.
Android Authority has a nice app with quality info, but everyone has sites or apps they prefer over other ones.
AA App for Android™ - Android Apps on Google Play
Yeah, Android "news" sites are like any other news type...same rehashed info with a particular spin placed upon it.
You're right. I do like Android Central in particular because they also have forums for almost every model of phone. I've seen a few people from this Community on the A7 forum there.
Definitely AC has some good forums and the variety is very good also. If anyone is looking for info they can usually find it on Android Central's forums. I also like XDA and have been a member there for years but it's not for the thin skinned, as it's not very friendly to me users. Luckily Android has a wealth of sites to go to for info of any kind.
I primarily stick to the carrier support forums myself. Those support sites of OEMs for whichever device I had at the moment. Wish LG had a forum.
Well, I got a software update yesterday morning, but it wasn't for Nougat. It was to update the build number and security patch.
Well that's still a good thing.
What build number did it update to & what month is the security patch for? TIA
I think it updated the build number.
Build number: z981v1.0.0b14
The A7 still only has the October 1st security patch.
