  • Just to tie this back to the main thread (cause there are unknown +1 threads on rooting) - Any update on what ZTE calls the upcoming "fix"?

My fingers are crossed that this will fix this issue for everyone!

Did this issue ever get a FIX because it's still happening for me. Every third party music player will automatically crash after PRECISELY 15 minutes.

Support said that if factory reset didn't work then it needs to be sent in for repair.

Did anyone ever find a fix? Or get an update?

My wife streams Pandora almost daily for 45 minutes and doesn't have any issues. She's currently running Z978V1.0.0B22.

    I'm using a ZTE GRAND X 4 (Z956)

    Android 6.0.1

    Baseband version: Z956H01

I'm wondering if there's any kind of update/patch I can implement that would offer a solution. As I said, supports online advice is sending it in for repair. Trying to avoid that if I can. No problems otherwise.
