Possible Alternative Audio Solutions for Lineage OS 14.1 Users

These solutions do provide a better listening experience, especially if your using a bluetooth connection.

If you have a bluetooth headset or speaker that support the Aptx codec ( Axon 7 doesnt support this out of the box because ZTE never paid to use it).

APT-X flashable for LOS 14.1 from dh.harald | ZTE Axon 7

For a full featured alternative to Dolby Atmos try Viper4Android

https://www.droidorigin.com/install-viper4android-on-nougat/

The UI for Viper4Android is nowhere as simple as it was on Dolby Atmos but its uses is far more reaching. TBH i'm not certain there was much effect on the hardware speaker.

Let me guys know if you noticed any improvements.

Neither of those will change that. Apparently, it needs help from ZTE or someone who has access and knows how to fix the audio calibration files.

You can force both left & right channels out of each speaker. Not quite the she effect but makes it sound fuller at least.

Head into console - > then select SRS_1_1_Normal_stereo.irs.

Definitely gets you both channels, just both the left & right channels come out of both speakers.

Sorry, that was a spelling error on my part. Auto-correct strikes again! Lol

In the V4A app under the speakers settings. Head to Convolver - > then select SRS_1_1_Normal_stereo.irs.
