Do you want to know if there's an app for that @rf004s? Here's the one that I use if that isn't a built-in option.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kimcy929.doubletaptoscreenoff

Whether that will work on a dual screen phone I don't know. Doesn't hurt to try it out.

I would avoid anything like that that isn't built into the kernel. Guaranteed to cause battery drain.

@loudog3114 I don't see any battery drain from that app at all for the double tap off. I don't use the double tap on because that would drain the battery more.

  • I've had a few older phones (back in the days of Jellybean and Kitkat) that had the double tap to wake feature and loved it. It was probably the one feature I missed most when I switched to using my Axon7. I had never noticed any battery drain due to the feature, and usually ask for it as a feature in any phone. I can see it working ok with the Axon M, but wonder it it may cause conflicts due to second screen as mentioned. I try to stay away from apps that add these features. it's been my experience that they cause more headache than anything.
