My Z982 notified me today of the update, and I have installed the B25 Build.
My Android Security Patch Level is August 1, 2018.

I hope to always use a ZTE phone.

Keep up the Good work !! :)

Seems like a lot of ZTE updates are a gamble. After having experienced the Blade V8 update, I'm gonna have to pass on this one for now.

I have noticed a few inprovements after reset my phone from the update. I think mostly the update was more focused on the security, with I am happy about. Just hoping that now we will start to see them more regularly than normal. That's a hope!

I installed B25, update went fine. As a normal practice I factory reset on major updates, and though this one was not major I still did it because of issues noted by others and the amount of time it has been. Battery life seems as good as before.

After factory resetting this morning, setting things up, disabling unused preinstalled apps (Facebook and its helper services, some MetroPCS stuff, unused Google keyboards), and charging back to 100%, it is at 95% power after seven hours. I'll take that!

If you haven't already gotten a notice, you can go to settings->software update->check for update

Is anyone having wifi connection problems? I can't connect to any wifi anymore. I factory reset thinking it would solve this but nothing. Reset it 2 times now. Wifi just says disabled after entering password. I have tried to input it manually too. Help?

@milly200 so you see wifi networks available but cannot connect? You could try a network settings reset. Go to settings->more->Network Settings Reset Might help.

Ok, since this "upgrade" to build 25 I can no longer connect to my home Wifi. Every other device in my home, from my tablet to my printer, connects perfectly. Not this phone. I went back to the PCS store and the girl there told me that because the phone connected with the Wifi in store that there must be a problem with my Internet and that I needed to contact Spectrum. How does a failed update to my phone cause me to need to have anything to do with my Internet provider? Especially since the problem started after this supposed upgrade? Using the Finger app on my tablet I an see every other device connected to my Wifi, but not my phone. Kinda narrows it down, huh?
It sounds to me like one of the "security enhancements " has caused my phone to reject my wifi. What can I do???
Pretty frustrated, as I had been very pleased with the phone and service up to now.

@MarkyJ64 you can try doing a network reset by going to settings->more->network settings reset. Keep in mind this will reset Bluetooth, Cellular and wifi data.

Are you able to connect to public wifi at all? Also, is your home internet running 2.4gHz or 5gHz? The Blade Z MAx only supports 2.4gHz.
