My Axon 7 stuck on airplane mode...
I've never encountered this issue on my Axon 7. See if this will help: try going to settings, then click More, scroll all the way down and click Network settings reset, and finally click Reset settings.
I do this....but....still stuck....
Not sure what else to do in this situation. Hopefully someone else can provide some insight on what might be causing this problem.
As a last resort, you could also try doing a factory data reset to see if that gets rid of the issue but you may want to back up some or all of your data before doing it.
@julinho If you have wifi calling enabled, turn it off and restart your device.
I'm not sure if I did that.
How do I turn off this feature?
The easiest way to get to Wi-Fi calling would be swipe down on home screen to bring the quick tile. Then there you will see the Wi-Fi calling icon, long pres sit and it will take you to wifi calling menu. If you cannot see it, just open Settings, on the search bar on the top, type in wifi and you should see wifi calling showing up. Go there and toggle it off.
have you tried to put the sim card in the other slot?
My phone does not display this option.
The phone recognizes the chip, but does not emit a carrier signal.
@samsamha, I don't have a Wi-Fi calling quick tile on my Axon 7 (running Android Nougat 7.1.1) so maybe he doesn't either.
@julinho, swipe down from the home screen to bring down the quick tiles and, if possible, long-press the Airplane Mode quick tile to get to the settings page where Wi-Fi calling can be found. If that's not possible, go to settings, click More, and there you should see a toggle for Wi-Fi calling so just turn that toggle off.
Thank you for your help. But, I went in the airplane mode settings and this option does not appear. See the image .
The SIM Card works on another device. He also worked on that one. It suddenly stopped working. The strange thing is that the device recognizes the sim card, and shows the operator but the signal icon is disabled and I can not make calls or use the data.
Out of curiosity, what model of the Axon 7 are you using?
Android security patch level: 5 Jan 2018
I noticed you have "Network Settings Reset" ,do this :
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Go and do "Network Settings Reset" (keep in mind this will erase any current WiFi/Bluetooth connections.
3. Insert Sim Card.
and if that doesn't restore you Sim Card connectivity, just suggest doing "Factory Reset" and as always backup your content to your PC or hard drive before doing a "Factory Reset"
I did both of these things. Unsuccessfully.
Have you ever been trying to install other software beside stock ZTE Software?
Go to this site and download your respective version of your either current or latest update.
Those packages are sdcard package and you'll be able to reflash usi g either Software Update under settings or via Recovery Mode.
Be aware of backup everything before proceeding with flashing software.
Now my phone is running Android 8.
But, the problem isso keeping.
Still stuck in "no service"
Check it out the image.
I noticed that you have the SD card icon on the notification bar. Do you have an SD card in the phone? If so, try to take it out and try it.
Who is your carrier?
I already tested without the SD card. The problem continues.
My carrier is VIVO. I'm in Brazil.
It worked properly, and suddenly this problem began.
Do you suggest anything?
have you checked if the APN setting is set correctly, look under network and internet, mobile network and see if it is set up correctly. I found this online, not sure if that is the right one, do double check on Vivo's site to see if you can find the right apn.
Yes, I did...
I try everything...I give up.
So bad, sounds a good brand to me.
Tks a lot for all help. =]
Is there any antenna part?
really sorry for the issue here. Axon 7 is definitely a great device and I know it's sad to see it not working.
There is a possibility the issue could be due to antenna or other hardware If you are looking to try to repair it, here is a quick guide from non-other the master jerryrigeverything that I found online that gives you a step by step instruction on how to take the phone apart.
