I saw news about an Axon 10s Pro as far back as mid-December but didn't bother posting anything about it on here as it'll almost certainly be only available in China. It looks like it'll have some great specs but a US launch is highly unlikely. Just like the Axon 7s in 2017 was exclusive to China.
Love the specs! It would be nice if it came to the states. But it does seem like a China only device sadly.
shame. but regardless, wont hold my breath. They're doing a really bad job saturating the market. if you go to any case maker or dbrands or what have you, there is a lot for other brands but never for zte. They need to push the envelope
ZTE Mobile to make an announcement tomorrow, may be related to the Axon 10s Pro
I'm still hopeful it could make it state side (with support for the T-Mobile low/mid bands).
I am too @david_l312.
I was just about to post this too.
I have doubts it will come to USA so soon after Axon 10 Pro. Competition in this range is very tough and it would almost certainly be tough to market both devices. ZTE is still coming back stateside and don't have the resources Samsung has to have two flagships going in this market at the same time with no in store carrier sales. I think from a marketing and money side it doesn't make sense.
Just my thoughts.
You may be right. But, not everyone cares about 5G (and the extra power it will consume). The 10 and 10S could co-exist with the 10S being $150 - $200 more expensive. The hardware is mostly done (except for maybe antenna design). Though there is also the cost of US licensing.
But, if ZTE wants to have a 2020 flagship it'll need to be an 865, with requires the separate 5G modem.
