Currently ZTE has only officially announced the Z11 Mini (which got official in April). Apparently, the company is busy working on two additional Z11-branded phones, which should be unveiled in the near future.
Both of these have recently been certified for sale in China by TENAA, that country's FCC equivalent. This means a few pictures of each device, along with a list of their most important specs is available.
First, the Nubia Z11, seen above. This sports a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor (the chipset used is probably the Snapdragon 617, which is also inside the Z11 Mini), 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 2,900 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Its measurements are 151.8 x 72.3 x 7.75 mm and it weighs 162g.
Next up, the Nubia Z11 Max - which is an even bigger phablet, as its name implies. It's graced with a 6-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and the same 16 MP / 8 MP camera setup as both the Z11 and the Z11 Mini. The Max features a 4,000 mAh battery and is probably powered by the Snapdragon 652 SoC. Its dimensions are 159.15 x 82.25 x 7.4 mm. It should run Lollipop just like its sibling, in both cases hidden underneath ZTE's own UI.
These two Z11 family members come with full metal builds (save for some small plastic panels hiding antennas), unlike the "metal frame in between two sheets of glass" sandwich that is the Z11 Mini. Both new Z11 models come with a fingerprint scanner on the back, and faux-bezelless display panels. 4G LTE connectivity will be built into both, as you may assume.
ZTE, as promised, has unveiled its Nubia Z11 Max smartphone at an event in China. The new ZTE Nubia Z11 Max smartphone will be available to buy in China starting June 16 priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 20,000).
Interested consumers in China can buy the Cristiano Ronaldo Collector's Edition of the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max which will come with an entire package including a special case, selfie stick, and wallpapers among others. The special edition smartphone sports the footballer's image and signature at the back. It will go on sale starting June 18 and will be priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 23,000). Unfortunately, ZTE has not revealed whether the limited edition of the Nubia Z11 Max will be limited to China or will be available in other markets as well.
The biggest highlight of the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max is its 6-inch full-HD display which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor (4 cores clocked at 1.8GHz + 4 cores clocked at 1.4GHz) paired with 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB onboard storage and the smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop based Nubia Z11 Max runs the company's in-house UI.
The Nubia Z11 Max sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/ 2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and includes sapphire glass protection. There is an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The handset is backed by a 4000mAh battery. It measures 159.1x82.2x7.4mm, and weighs 185 grams.
