Any word on a release for the USA region of the Axon 7? I am getting anxious to know about the US when all the other regions are going to be announced today by the end of the day.

Lol.  This reminds of the kids in the back of the car during a road trip saying "are we there yet?"

Even if it were available today, I think I'm going to hold off for a little while to see about the Dev. support.

We make up a good margin in sales for ZTE why they making us last not sure. "Maybe save the best for late!" Hopefully this week I can click that buy now button.

I respect that choice of waiting too.

I want the phone... I really really want it... I'm just not seeing anything good concerning ZTE's stance on being a developer friendly OEM.

That is purely their choice, and I respect that. I can also vote with my wallet though, and choose another device that suits my needs & wants; as can many other consumers.

I've seen a ton of interest in this device by the developer scene, but given ZTE's stance thus far; it doesn't paint a pretty picture regarding that subject.

Now that I got rid of the M8, there's no real need for me to jump on the A7 or any other device for that matter.

I sincerely hope that ZTE decides to embrace the developer community at some point, instead alienating those consumers. Even though developers may be a niche group, they have a lot of influence in the mobile market.

  • I sure hope its today. Its bad enough I was dreaming last night about getting this device. lol. Doesnt help Le eco is supposed to announce a new device today that may have 8gb of ram and have the new 821 cpu.
