1 more thing, signal reception is greatly improved. I've also noticed screen stutters are gone now as well.

As of now, there is an update available that fixed the issue for my Virgin Mobile version of the Max XL, as does the Boost Mobile version as well mentioned earlier. The update fixed the 720p60fps and 1080p60fps video issues on the YouTube app as well as 720p60fps, and I'm assuming 1080p60fps streaming/replaying on the Twitch app. Also, going from portrait mode to landscape mode doesn't glitch the screen to be smaller than normal temporarily anymore, and I'm sure other things were fixed as well as a part of the "performance fixes." I'd like to thank everyone here in the thread who helped see this through to the end as well as ZTE themselves for taking the time to actually fix a glaring issue and make the Max XL the absolute best budget phone on the market.

Note: As mentioned earlier, your phone must be at 100% to download the update.

Thanks for all of the help!
