Android Service is using most, 42% of the battery, but I tried few hard rest no luck. so I switch out SD card, and seems to be much better now. could be a bad SD card? I am keeping my eye on it.
put SD card on computer, and it says card need be scanned and fix. I guess that card itself has some kind issue. If I don't post additional common, then it is the card must be LOL.

I can go all day on heavy usage with no issues. I hate to say it but I would do a full reset if it were my device.

Okay, I'm gonna have to call shenanigans on this one.
So I erased all the data on my phone, thinking something might have happened with the upgrade. Put a ringtone in the "ringtone" folder, tried to select it and guess what? Won't work and I get the annoying "can't do it" chime.
BUT... if I put the ringtone in my music folder it allows me to select it for anything.
Can anyone else verify this? Try to select a ringtone that's actually IN the ringtone folder and not an MP3 in the music folder and see if you get the same results? Seems like a big oversight on either Google or ZTE's part...
Can you provide any eta? The updates are so irregular and not transparent at all, it's kind of disappointing.
If I am not mistaken, it was like this for a long time as I seem to recall it goes way back to Android 8 on the Axon 7 (maybe even earlier). Essentially what is going on is that the audio files that are stored on the root folder of the system partition is what you are seeing under the Settings's ringtone. To use any custom audio files not stored in the root folder, you would needs to select the audio file use "Music tab" or "recordings" to set to the ringtone.
Alternatively, you can use the "File Manager" and choose a music file you want to set as ringtone, long press to select and then tap on the 3 dot menu option and choose "set audio as" where you can set as ringtone or notification ringtone.
I just received word yesterday afternoon that the file has been sent over. Just waiting for the web team to put it up on the zteusa.com site. I imagine this will be done in the first few days of next week. I will come back and post here as soon as I know it is up.
Thanks for the response. But this wasn't a problem under Android 9, only happened once I got over to Android 10.
With everything that's going on - all the bugs and such - I'm wondering if there's a way to go back to Android 9.

The SD card update package is now available at https://www.zteusa.com/axon-10-pro at the bottom of the page. Click the arrow next to software updates to download the package. Installation instructions are also available under the user guide tab on the same page.
Tried to install it, says it's for NA devices. Doesn't work. 🙃
Yup, it’s only for North American devices.
Yes it is only for the Axon 10 Pro Model (A2020U) only. We do not have ROM's for markets outside of the US. You would need to go to https://www.ztedevices.com/en/ for support for devices not in the US market.
Are you going to upload the European version for sd installation?
The phone is for sure even more fantastic now, and was much needed. I can't believe more people I have not gotten this phone yet when I search online forums...it's such great value.
This is ZTE USA. Why would they have files for non US devices?
@toukkam You're in the wrong place. This is ZTE USA and they don't provide support for devices from other markets. As provided above, you'd have to reach out to the correct region to get support.

Okay, as a means of an update to all:
Does anyone have problems with the navigation/GPS? Mine takes about 20-30 seconds to fix on my location, where with Android 9 it was almost instantaneous. In addition, when I try to exit navigation from the notification bar it locks up for about 5 seconds and does nothing.
As for Wifi, I keep getting a pop-up web notification to sign into networks that I've used before. Like, if I'm at a Dunkin Donuts it will automatically load a webpage to "sign in and connect" whether I tap on the notification or not. Super annoying.
Has anyone else found any more bugs?

Okay... sorry it took so long. I was contacted by ZTE USA to send my phone back for repair. They get kudos for taking the extra step... every other company I've dealt with (other than Essential, and they're now defunct) basically said it wasn't their problem or I just have to wait for a software patch.
So the list of problems I've found on my phone (and I even tried a hard reset) is as follows:
If anyone else has found any other problems, I'd love to know. But I'm reserving judgement on this until I get my phone back from ZTE. Weird, because this phone was fantastic on Android 9, and now it's a major problem on 10.
Any update on how goes it with the updated a10's? Curious whats going on b/c I'm thinking of updating mine now if there aren't any major issues
I have no issues with the update on my device.
So I did update but I can't seem to get notifications to just vibrate or chime instead they pop up on scren. Can't remember how to stop that now. It's annoying to be in a ranked match in cod mobile and have it cover screen. Also when swiping down to get to screen brightness or quick tiles like for the screen recorder I get this instead... Annoying.
See how screen brightness is barely showing? Can't get to quick tiles either. Also wtf is this? When a word is misspelled and you press on it to bring up add dictionary or delete. I'm guessing that's bc it wasn't corrected with dark theme in mind?

I will provide the update link below but this update will only work for the US version of the Axon 10 Pro A2020U and not the European or Chinese version.
