I tried the usb otg, on the go, app checker and it doesn't have that feature.
Can I connect a type C usb thumbdrive to the Zmax Pro?
After speaking with our R&D team and running tests to replicate your request we have confirmed the ZMAX Pro does not support USB OTG.
I'm going to cry of we can't. I did this all the time on my original Zmax...
Hello. Thank you for your post. I am going to mark this for action to get a correct response for you. You should be hearing sometime soon.
If it doesn't support On The Go, which they make apps to check it, then it may not work. I know USB c is bidirectional so hopefully it works. Better to get a usb c to USB A female type connector if you are going to use one, since most thumbdrives are USB. If thumbdrives work I would get one with a type C one one end and USB A on the other/ Right now I have one with micro on one end and USB on the other for my old phone.

Hi, our team is looking into this, right now, for you. Thanks so much for your patience as we get this answer for you. We'll be in touch soon!
What about MHL compatible?
MHL compatibility is unavailable.
Is this permanently or could it come in an update?
''Carrier Device" updates are a little different than the updates you can see from "Carrier Free" devices.
yea Cricket isnt the best with updates so I wouldnt expect to see it in the future, but If it came that would be a pleasant surprise lol
Regarding OTG and MHL implement on ZMAX PRO, can they be implemented on an unlocked carrier device? metroPCS has unlocked my phone, presumably that means updates need not be restricted.
