ZTE listening to the Community again. Great update!
Nice!!
Nice! That is great news for the current and future Spro 2 owners!
Sounds great! Constantly listening to user feedback and making improvements
Any idea when this will work with the AT&T Spro 2?
sounds great
Hey , both options are currently available for the AT&T version of the SPro 2. What build number are you currently using?
MF97BV1.0.0B21
It says there is no update available when trying to update.
Are you trying to use the remote app or physical remote?
The remote app.
I don't see an option to turn the remote on.
Check these settings:
Projector Settings > (4th Paragraph Bubble) Remote
Let me know if you see the option.
I would love to try a Spro 2 Hands On
The 4th bubble is advanced user with CAIC settings, LABB settings, Color correction, Anti-shake, and G-sensor sensitivity.
No remote control selection.
I'll reach out to our R&D team and get some more information for you.
any new info?
Check out ZTE Spro 2 (AT&T) - ZTE USA . At the bottom of the page, there is a support tab with a manual update for the SPro 2. R&D mentioned that B21 should have the option, but if you are not seeing it, I would start with the update that is available on the support page.
Any luck with the manual update?
The update doesn't work.
It errors out saying "E: signature length doesn't match EOCD marker. signature verification failed. Package corrupt."
I've redownloaded it 3 times and tried different SD cards.
Let me loop in and see if we can get some more insight.
I'd still like to see a 1080p output of this device.
John, we're looking into this for you. Please allow some time for us to gather more information, thanks!
I was able to get it working by factory resetting the device.
It sucked having to set everything back up, but the remote app is spectacular.
Does the app work for kindle fire? When I try to install it on the kindle via Google Play, it says there is no compatible device to install it on.
I have the app on my iPhone, but would like it on my kindle as well.
Any new info on how to get the remote control option?
Is it possible to turn on/off the SPro2 by the bluetooth remote control? Or only manually?
I was not able to get it to work on my kindle, and I tried several times. I eventually bought and air mouse on amazon, and loved how that was better than the app. Should you have any further questions please let me know
Hello. To enable the remote you will need to go to: Projector Settings > (4th Paragraph Bubble) Remote. Then open the remote app on the device you are using. Should you need further assistance please let me know.
Good Evening. The bluetooth remote will turn off the projection, but not power down the device. I hope this answers your question. Should you have further question, please feel free to ask.
I done this 6,742 times and it didn't connect.. it says "Tip: go to projector settings, and click Remote, On"
I did that, and clicked SEARCH, then it says it again, and again, and again
Both are connected to BLUETOOTH and Wi-fi. And still nothing. I restarted both devices, still nothing
PLEASE HELP
@peternajor Hello, and Welcome to Z-Community. I only had an issue with it connecting once. I enabled remote on in the settings as you did, and I then re-installed the app. That resolved it for me.
