in Blade V8 PRO
Has anyone gotten Google Assistant working on their Blade V8 Pro yet? I have the required version of Google Play Services installed which is supposed to enable it but I'm just getting the standard Google Now instead of the Google Assistant with a long press of the home button/key.

It was enabled this afternoon. I now have the Google Assistant on my ZTE Blade V8 Pro.

Google Assistant isnt available yet for the Blade V8 or most other phones for that matter. Google just announced a gradual rollout to other devices so I would say keep an eye on the community for a thread post about it becoming available
I got mine this morning too. finally
It takes time to roll out for all the phones, so just be patient, you will get yours eventually. cheers!
Also don't forget ZTE rolled out an update for the Blade V8 Pro Yesterday:
