HOW TO ENTER: During the Competition Period eligible entrants may enter by first visiting the Sponsor’s promotional website located at http//:community.zteusa.com/community/csx and then filling out and submitting the required forms to register for an account. Only one (1) account per person/email address is permitted. Entrants who try to create more than one account may be disqualified.
PHASE 1: During the Phase 1 Submission Period entrants are invited to submit their big ideas in the form of answers to the four (4) following questions; 1) What product should be built? 2) What purpose does the product serve? 3) Why will a consumer buy it? 4) How is it different? (the “Idea Submission”) All Submissions must follow the Submission Guidelines outlined in these Official Rules. Up to three (3) Idea Submissions per person/account may be submitted during the Submission period.
During the Phase 1 Voting Period, all eligible and approved Idea Submissions will be displayed through the Sponsor’s promotional website. Participants will be invited to vote and comment on the idea Submissions that have been submitted. If a person hasn’t registered yet, they will first need to fill out the required forms to register and create an account. Voting Limit: Only one (1) vote per Idea Submission per person/account is allowed during the Phase 1 Voting Period. Any attempt by anyone to submit more than the stated number of votes by using multiple/different email addresses/account or any other methods will void all their votes and he or she will be disqualified from further participation in the Competition.
At the end of the Phase 1 Voting Period the twenty (20) Idea Submissions that accumulated the most votes will be deemed as the Idea Finalists. At that time a panel of qualified judges (the “Judges”), determined solely by the Sponsor, will review all the Idea Finalists and select three (3) potential Idea Winners based on the following judging criteria: Public Appeal (number of votes) 40%, Creativity and Originality 30%, Adherence to Competition Submission Guidelines 30%. In the event of a tie, the score for “Creativity and Originality” will determine the winner. The decision of the Judges will be final.
PHASE 2: During the Concept Phase 2 Submission Period entrants are invited to visit the Sponsor’s promotional website, and if they haven’t registered yet, they will first need to fill out the required forms to register and create an account. They can then submit refined product concepts from the top 3 winning Ideas. Participants can choose one of the top 3 winning Ideas chosen in Phase 1 and refine them by building product concepts that should answer the following four (4) questions: 1) How will the product be built? 2) What is the product design? 3) What is the user interface? 4) What variations should it have (color, etc.)? (the “Concept Submission”) All Submissions must follow the Submission Guidelines outlined in these Official Rules. Up to three (3) Concept Submissions per person/account may be submitted.
Entrants may choose to submit a product concept on a new idea, instead of refining a product concept from the top 3 winning Ideas in Phase 1. During Phase 2, a product concept built upon a new Idea is required to answer questions for both Idea Submission and Concept Submission in its entirety.
During the Phase 2 Concept Period, all eligible and approved Concept Submissions will be displayed through the Sponsor’s promotional website. Participants will be invited to vote and comment on the Concept Submissions that have been submitted. If they haven’t registered yet they will first need to fill out the required forms to register and create an account. Voting Limit: Only one (1) vote per Concept Submission per person/account is allowed during the Phase 2 Voting Period. Any attempt by anyone to submit more than the stated number of votes by using multiple/different email addresses/account or any other methods will void all their votes and he or she will be disqualified from further participation in the Competition.
At the end of the Phase 2 Voting Period the twenty (20) Concept Submissions that accumulated the most votes will be deemed as the Product Finalists. At that time the Judges will review all the Product Finalists and select five 5 potential Product Winners based on the following judging criteria: Public Appeal (number of votes) 40%, Creativity and Originality 30%, Adherence to Competition Submission Guidelines 30%. In the event of a tie, the score for “Creativity and Originality” will determine the winner. The decision of the Judges will be final.
FINAL VOTING PERIOD: During the Final Voting Period Participants will be invited to vote for their favorite concept based on the five (5) Product Finalists concepts that were determined by the judges in Phase 2. At the end of the Final Voting Period, the Finalist that has accumulated the most votes will be deemed as the Grand Prize Winner. In the event of a tie the Judges will review the tied finalists and give each a score based on their original judging criteria that they used in Phase 2 to determine the winner.
